About Me

Laura’s passion for wellness and holistic healing began as a personal journey during her rehabilitation from a dislocated rib sustained as a high-level rugby player. Experiencing the profound benefits of yoga and healing arts in her recovery, she was inspired to delve deeper into these practices. Since 2009, she’s dedicated herself to helping others find balance, resilience, and healing through Qigong and yoga, drawing from her own transformative experiences and professional expertise to guide and motivate those she works with.

Laura brings a unique blend of expertise, compassion, and practical wellness strategies. She founded the Peterborough Yoga Wellness Institute, where she designed a restorative Qigong series that combines elements of both traditional Chinese medicine and modern wellness needs. Her extensive experience with thousands of clients has honed her ability to offer tailored guidance, whether helping people overcome physical challenges or deepening their mind-body awareness.

Laura’s connection with her clients is rooted in empathy, active listening, and a deep respect for each individual’s journey. She creates a safe, nurturing space for exploration and healing, adapting her approach to meet clients’ specific goals and comfort levels. Through her genuine care and a customized approach, clients feel seen, supported, and motivated to reach new heights in their wellness journeys.
