About Me
I've always had a deep-seated passion for health and wellness, with curiosity and interest being a part of my personality. During my teenage years, I stumbled upon yoga, realizing that its mental health benefits far surpassed the physical gains. As time progressed, I came to appreciate the physical advantages, particularly in injury recovery and maintaining mobility.
The decision to pursue yoga professionally was catalyzed by witnessing the transformative effects of meditative exercises and specific yoga asanas on family members undergoing cancer treatments. This revelation extended to observing similar positive outcomes, such as pain reduction, a sense of calm, and increased mobility, in patients undergoing rehabilitation after motor vehicle accidents, traumatic brain injuries, or strokes.
In moments of internal curiosity or the need for reconnection and empowerment, yoga serves as a powerful tool to strengthen these aspects from within, especially during the healing process. Leveraging my diverse background, I bring creativity to the forefront when crafting personalized practices for clients. Even in a group setting, I adopt an individualized approach, observing each participant to make necessary adjustments for their unique needs.
Building a connection rooted in trust is essential in my practice. I approach each client with warmth, friendliness, and a down-to-earth demeanor, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment. Active listening, keen observation of body language, and a commitment to making clients feel at ease are integral to my approach. Establishing a strong foundation is key to our collaborative journey, where the client and I work together, progressing naturally.
