About Me
My journey into psychotherapy was deeply shaped by witnessing the stigma surrounding mental health. I once saw a close friend being ostracized after experiencing seizures, and rather than receiving understanding, she was being isolated and misunderstood. I took a stand for her and helped her family see the importance of supporting their daughter instead of excluding her because of her condition. That experience opened my eyes to the significant gap in mental health awareness, compassion, and education within our communities. Over time, I noticed more women feeling safe enough to open up to me about their emotional struggles, trauma, and inner battles. Those experiences strengthened my desire to become a bridge between suffering and healing—creating spaces where people feel seen, understood, and supported.
What distinguishes me is my deeply human, non-clinical approach to therapy. While I value evidence-based interventions, I do not believe healing happens through labels alone. I focus on building genuine connection, emotional safety, and trust so clients feel they are sitting with another human first, not just a clinician. I bring warmth, cultural sensitivity, empathy, and authenticity into my work, allowing clients to feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions without judgment. My goal is to make therapy feel accessible, compassionate, and deeply personal.
