About Me

I chose psychotherapy as a profession because I was drawn to work that facilitates meaningful and lasting change in people’s lives. Over time, I have seen how traumatic experiences, particularly those occurring in childhood, can significantly limit an individual’s capacity for growth, connection, and self-realization later in life.

What drew me to psychotherapy is its trauma-informed, relational approach to healing: the creation of a safe therapeutic space, the development of trusting therapeutic relationships, and the consistency of the therapeutic process. Over time, this work supports individuals in gently processing deeply painful experiences, reducing emotional overwhelm, chronic stress, and isolation, and beginning to build a life oriented toward growth, stability, fulfillment, and reliable relationships.

My work is grounded in Gestalt and psychodynamic perspectives, which support exploration of the deeper roots of emotional and relational difficulties and foster a compassionate understanding of one’s internal experience. At the same time, I integrate DBT skills and ACT-based interventions to support behavioural change and help translate insight into everyday life. This combined approach allows therapy to address both emotional depth and practical change.

As a multilingual immigrant, I understand clinically and personally how living between cultures and identities can shape one’s sense of self, relationships, and professional life. While this experience can be deeply challenging, it can also become a meaningful turning point for growth. I offer therapy in English and Russian.
